HOW IS IT DONE?
Similar to how acupuncture is performed for general health, fine needles are inserted just beneath the skin for Cosmetic Acupunture. When inserted, these needles simulate the production of elastin and collagen to help fill in wrinkles and plump the face. The needles are about the thickness of a hair, quite different from the hypodermic needles most are familiar with. Cosmetic Acupuncture produces a more youthful appearance and also aims to balance the body's energy and create a sense of well-being.
Each session takes up to 60 minutes and the American Cosmetic Acupuncture Association requires a commitment of 10 sessions.
